Mahadev temple

The most ancient temple in the whole of Goa is located at a place called Tambi Surla which. The temple is dedicated to lord Shiva and was built during the Kadamba dynasty which ruled Goa between 12th to 14th century.

Shree Betal temple

The temple is dedicated to Purves Vetal who was famous as the warrior God. And the deity is also called 'Betal'.

St. Alex church

Located in the village of Curtorim it is amongst the oldest churches in Goa. It was built in 1597 and rebuilt in 1647 in contemporary 18th century 18th century styled design.

Our Lady of Health Church

Popularly known as Sancoale church, it was built initially in 1606 and was dedicated to our lady of good health. This church however caught fire in 1834 yet Its frontispiece, still stands on the bank of the Zuari river.
